Ellen has been instructing various types of group fitness for more than 20 years! She has been teaching Spin for the last 2.5 years. Ellen’s favourite part about teaching at Pulse is the atmosphere that is created by all of our riders and staff. Pulse makes everyone feel welcome and are very helpful when needed.
Ellen motivates her riders to challenge themselves and have fun. She puts a lot of time into prepping her music - she aims for a mix of dance, funk and classic rock. She always keeps in mind the tunes that will motivate us to work just a little bit harder.
Quick Tip: Make sure you bring a water bottle and don’t hesitate to add higher or lower resistance in class. When you’re starting out, you want to be kind to yourself, but it’s also good to ensure you’re adding enough resistance to experience the really great training benefits of indoor cycling.
